After Reading  Ibsen’s A Doll's House (827), answer all of the "Critical Questions for Reading Plays," 1-11, on page 630.

Give complete and thorough answers.  Cite from the text whenever possible, and give support for all of your responses.  While some responses will be longer than others, you need to demonstrate that you have read and understand the work you choose through textual support.

For example, question #5 reads:

Is the antagonist (the one who opposes the protagonist) a person, an environment, or a social force (See Chapter 29)?  If a person, does the antagonist cause conflict intentionally?

To answer this question, you would need to cite specific lines or narrative from the play.  It is not enough to say, “Yes, Iago is the antagonist.”  You won’t receive any points for a response like that.  Instead, you will need to cite multiple examples of when he plots against Othello.  The same would be true in A Doll's House.  What examples and evidence is there of conflict in the play?  Where are the best scenes, descriptions and dialogue exemplifying that?  In short, show me that you have read the play as printed in the textbook.  Give the page number after each citation
