Module 2-Project Based Experience for Young Children Part 1

Directions: Review your Assignment B: Project based Experiences for Young Children criteria and the rubric. Reviewing your rubric and following the criteria can get you the maximum points of 3 for each area. Answer the 8 questions below as part of your weekly assignment. This is the foundation for your final project. Type your answers right after the questions in red. Please be prepared to share in class so we can provide feedback before moving forward to actually starting the project. Submit your responses by Friday, Friday, September 29, 2023 by midnight. Remember this is a work in progress to get your final project. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

1. Identify your theme for your Project Based Experiences for Young Children curriculum development project. What is the Title.

2. Identify the age group (0-5)/grade (Up to Kindergarten) that you are going to do the Project Based Approach project on.

3. Create your anticipatory web to plan for the classroom curriculum.

4. Identify 3 developmentally appropriate activities for each of the 7 subject areas that we will be working on in this course (page 9 of your syllabus). For Math, one activity must be graphing and construction/building.

5. Identify 3 subjects from the 7 we will be working on in this course that you will include in your project-based experience. (Once you have this in another assignment you will be planning for these activities)

6. Identify a virtual or face to face fieldtrip that you can incorporate into your project.

7. Identify 3 family involvement activities for the project-based experience. You need one for each subject you chose to incorporate

8. Identify a culminating activity you will incorporate at the end of your project.
