Choose one of the following reading set selections:

1. Set one- The Other Side is Not Dumb (pg. 212) and Why Rural America Voted for Trump (pg. 279).
2. Set two- Why Women Still Can’t Have it All (pg. 534) and Why Men Still Can’t Have it All (pg. 555).
3. Set three- Are Too Many People Going to College (pg. 344) and The New Liberal Arts (pg. 336).
4. Set four- Blue Collar Brilliance (pg. 377)  and Hidden Intellectualism (pg. 369).

After reading one of the essay sets listed above, construct a three page essay that summarizes both of the arguments (they say), which explains how the authors agree and disagree. Then craft your response to the issues the two essays raise (I say). Make sure you include a naysayer to show possible objections to your argument and address the “so what” factor: why does this issue matter.  Don’t forget a work cited page.
