English_Double Entry Journal - Trifles

profileivnoolik

The double-entry journal encourages readers to think about a play, respond to it, more than once.

To create a double-entry journal, fold a sheet of paper in half to form 2 columns.  In one column, record a list of characters as they are introduced and events and conversations as they take place (the "who, what, when, where, and how" of the story).  Next, in the second column, record your reactions, thoughts, themes, literary devices, etc. as based on the "who, what, when, where, and how" that you recorded in the first column.

Please take notes using the double-entry journal method; you may use the double-entry templateActions if you wish.  You may type your notes or scan (or snap a photo of) a handwritten copy and upload it here.
