    • Comment on how interpretation (tempo, phrasing, expression) shapes the listening experience.
  5. Your Reflection

    • Did this performance change your perception of the instrument, style, or period?
    • Would you recommend it to others? Why or why not?

Formatting Guidelines

  • Use paragraphs to separate ideas, avoiding bullet points in your final submission.
  • Capitalize song titles (except if it is a song from an opera, in which case only the first word is typically capitalized in the title. If unsure search online for a sheet music example and follow that format or email me) and place them in quotation marks. Italicize larger works (operas, symphonies, albums).
  • Proofread for grammar, punctuation, and clarity before submitting.

Example title format for opera: "Nessun dorma" from Turandot (Nessun dorma is the song title, and Turandot is the opera)
