English article summary

Our next assignment requires that you read and study the two following articles.

Be sure to read each carefully, taking notes and identifying the purpose (thesis) and specific examples of evidence to support the thesis as you do so.  I believe each article should be read more than once, as each contain complex information and economic theory.

You are going to be asked to write an academic summary of these two articles.
