The Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) has been intimately involved with local disasters in the last decade. Review some of the work that FEMA has been involved in recently in your area. Investigate and describe some of the work done by FEMA after a recent disaster in your area. Using approximately 200 to 400 words, describe some of the public health implications of these disasters and FEMA’s role in preventing controlling these situations. Were they effective?
