DUE SUNDAY AT MIDNIGHT!  40 points total:  Packet is worth 20 (based on how completely it is filled out) and in-class discussion is worth 20.

In a Socratic Seminar activity, students help one another understand the ideas, issues, and values reflected in a text through a group discussion format. Students are responsible for facilitating their group discussion around the ideas in the text; they shouldn’t use the discussion to assert their opinions or prove an argument. Through this type of discussion, students practice how to listen to one another, make meaning, and find common ground while participating in a conversation.  (see here for more info: https://www.facinghistory.org/resource-library/teaching-strategies/socratic-seminar)

You will need to answer each question in a minimum of three sentences. Although most of your grade will be in how much you participate (at least twice for full points), you still need to come to class prepared, or you won't have much to say at all.

SENIORS: You MUST have this filled out COMPLETELY for full points.  Quotes from book are required.  Seniors will not be with us in next week for the actual discussion, so this needs to be completed.

This will be our final class project and will be our last assignment for the school year. :'(
