I'm working on a five-paragraph character analysis for either Phoenix Jackson from Eudora Welty’s A Worn Path or Madame Loisel from Guy de Maupassant’s The Diamond Necklace. The idea is to focus on one character and highlight four traits they show throughout the story—one trait per body paragraph. For each trait, back it up with specific moments from the story that show the character acting that way.

It’s not just a summary of the plot—use events from the story to prove the character has those traits. And I need to include quotes from the text with proper citations, and a works cited page.
