1. Preview, then Read one chapter of your choice
- Preview the section on "Research," Chapters 15-24 in Everyone's an Author; 1st Ed (325-462); Chapters 19-27, 2nd Ed (443-574) (Note the headings and subheadings in each chapter).
- Choose one of the following chapters from the research section in Everyone's an Author-15, 16, 21, 22, 23 (1st Ed); or 19, 20, 24, 25,26 (2nd Ed) to read closely. Take notes. You will summarize the chapter in this discussion post for your classmates.
2. Research

3. Respond.
Write a 200-250 word post that summarizes the most useful parts of both the chapter you chose to read (and why you chose it) as well as one aspect of the Research 101 tutorial that you found most useful for your classmates.
