 Assignment 1: Using The Collapse of Western Civilization as a model, write a history on some aspect of the future as a historian in the year 2100. The goal of this project will be to prioritize risks and prescribe solutions for contemporary global problems. Students will write their own history of the future. Your predictions cannot be purely speculative. You must justify your arguments through the use of sources in order to integrate scientific predictions with socio-historical trends.
