Elementary Statistics
WORK FLOW- This course is completed one unit at a time. To complete a unit, you will need to follow this work flow model, which includes four steps. 1) Go to the My Assignments area and watch the video lesson for the section. There may be more than one video lesson for a section. The main video lesson is most similar to a classroom lecture. You will also see Stat Crunch videos for certain sections. The Stat Crunch videos are typically example videos demonstrating how to use the program for certain questions. (Note: Lesson videos and Stat Crunch videos are for instructional purposes only and do NOT officially count toward your grade). 2) Read the section in the text found in the E-Text and Videos area. I generally suggest reading the section in the text after watching the video lesson. 3) Go back to the My Assignments area and complete the section assignment. The homework assignment for each section is based on the reading and the lesson video. Be sure to write out your work and organize it in a notebook. The average of all homework assignment grades counts 20% of your overall average. 4) After completing the above three activities for each section in a unit, it is time to make final preparations for the test over the unit. The tests are located in the My Tests area. You will have two attempts at each test and you are expected to complete tests without the assistance of others.
