Educational Assessments

You are the instructor of a high school biology class in the process of preparing an assessment. Write three selection items, three response items, and three performance items. Begin by describing the course, including its goals and detailed objectives, and explaining specifically how you plan to use assessment in this course. Indicate specifically how and why the items you have developed will meet this goal. Include a section showing how you will ensure that your items are valid and reliable. Please use Bloom’s New Taxonomy to develop your items and indicate where they fall on the taxonomic scale. Indicate for any two of the above nine items how your items would be used in formative evaluation and how you would use the data from the results to remediate your students.
