Higher Education Growth and Development Consultant

You have been given the job as a higher education growth and development consultant. You’ve had experience at this point in traditional state universities, private religiously affiliated universities, and even modern online learning institutions. Your experience has given you a broad range of opportunities to reflect and now you are working as an educational consultant.

Although you are affiliated with several large consulting agencies, you are working on a contingency bass and as a result you need to advertise your capacities to some degree to be successful. One of the first things one of the consultants/brokers has asked you to prepare for them are some examples of your work and your expertise. To demonstrate your expertise, they’ve asked you to author a blog regarding the higher education crisis that schools are facing today. Since you will likely be consulting with a wide variety of clients, you are to situate this blog post with all these potential audiences in mind.

For this blog entry your work should come in the form of a formal APA paper and address the following:

· Component 1: Introduction defining the crisis.

· Component 2: Explore the genesis of the crisis.

· Component 3: Identify an outline or overview of some future implications associated with the crisis.

· Component 4: Offer a conclusion with synthesizes your main points.

Please ensure in executing this assignment that you make specific references to the readings provided as well as the utilization of at least three outside references which can be used to support your ideas presented. The use of outside sources is important because even though the materials provided for this course are excellent, as a graduate student you are expected to be able to consult a variety of sources regarding a given topic and synthesize that scholarly input into a thoughtful set of recommendations, conclusions, etc.

The essay should be 2000- words and should include at least three (3) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The title page and references page do not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment.
