1.  What does the term effective classroom manager mean to you?

2. What are you doing to develop your competence for this role?

3. Teachers should pair behaviors to be increased and decreased together because it helps the teacher avoid thinking only of the negative side of the student's behavior. What are your thoughts on this statement. How would you employ this with students in your classroom? as a practicum student? student teacher? new teacher? 

4. All children learn a set of "social skills" to get there needs meet. Do not assume children know your rules, expectations or social skills. Because every social interaction you have with a child teaches him/her something. The question is what are you teaching the students in your practicum setting about your rules, expectations and social skills they should display when working with you and others in the school?
