Journal Analysis: Exercise and Activity Assignment Instructions
Overview
The purpose of this assignment is to examine and analyze activity, exercise and calorie balance as they relate to adequacy, deficiency and health benefits. This fulfills Learning Outcomes 1 and 4.
Instructions
Details:
For this assessment, you are analyzing the following aspects:
· Discuss your activity level as it pertains to your health and weight management goals (i.e. maintenance, loss, gain). Using the Energy Balance Report, include the actual results and discuss. Do you have a Net Loss? Net Gain? Is the net change insignificant (thus promoting a maintenance balance)? Does this result match your goals? If you desire to lose weight, is the Net Loss enough? Too much?
· Identify positive behaviors that contribute to personal health and activity level. This should be actual (versus desired) positive behaviors that you were doing in the area of eating and activity during the timeframe tracked.
· Discuss whether or not you are honoring God through how you take care of your body (this could include a discussion of activity as well as nourishment).
· Discuss a plan for how to maintain current behaviors or improve behaviors, if needed, to promote overall health.
Enter iProfile and click on REPORTS.
