Examine the field of assessment today and how it is being used in schools to enhance student learning. Compare and contrast the traditional views of assessment with ways in which it has changed and describe what is meant by assessment for learning, of learning, and as learning. Please state your personal opinion of assessment, specifying what you believe works and what does not giving detailed reasons why. Indicate specific methods of how you think assessment can be used at the school level to improve the institution and how it can and/or should be used by teachers in the classroom.
