 Many times, instructional designers are tasked to create instruction about software programs. In some cases, they may create videos showing the program’s use or they will capture and edit screens. A very powerful tool you will want to add to your resource collection is Jing, which you can download for free. Download and install Jing on your system. Then, use Jing to create a simple video of a program (such as Word or PowerPoint) within which you integrate audio. Post your video to screencast.com (which you do from within Jing) and then post a link to your video here. Discuss ways you might use Jing within your work.
