Your boss has asked you to prepare a detailed memo on the job market for economists and expects you to report your findings to stakeholders. You want to provide a presentation that clearly lays out your findings and provide a report for reference so that stakeholders have material to come back to at a later time.

· Certifications/qualifications

· Soft Skills

· Degree level

· Experience (internships?)

· Hiring process

· Sources of employment

· Companies

· Gov’t entities

· Location

· Salary expectations

· Measure across industry and across jobs.

2. Remember to create a PowerPoint with at least five (5) to Ten (10) slides!

Also, you must add a regression in your PowerPoint presentation.

· Content of slides

. Your slides should be clean, easy to read, and easy to pull up when your time to present comes.

. Your slides should contain more than just words.

. Your slides should contain specific, sourced information.

. You should avoid generalities at all costs.

. Your slides should be professional, free of typos and formatting errors, and be complements to your presentation.

· Job market report

. Along with the presentation, you should produce a report on your findings.

. This report should be 1-2 pages, single spaced, Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins.

. You should break your report into logical sections.

. You should source all relevant information with a clean works cited page.

. This information should be complementary to what is contained in your presentation. Meaning there may be a large bit of overlap, but they should not be identical.

. You should seek to add value to your report.
