eCommerce website

For this assignment, use free website creation software such as wordpress.com or weebly.com, and design your company's website. Remember to follow the details  you required in assignment 2, in the first section, paragraphs 3 &  4: "Here is where you must decide...". What you requested in the RFP is  what you are going to deliver on your e-commerce site. So, it will have a  home page plus whatever other pages you requested that it will contain  links to, and anything else you specified you would deliver.

For example, you may wish to provide images of items you are  selling and provide pricing. You can make an image of a 'shopping cart'  to check-out but don't pay for that feature - I think both sites charge  for that. In fact, don't pay for anything - email me if you're asked to  pay for something. Feel free to make up addresses and phone numbers, by  the way.

Be sure to research good website practices and follow them. This is  where you have leeway, but you are expected to use typical navigation  practices, content and aesthetics. Make it a true e-commerce site that  would catch a visitor's eye and provide website stickiness (what's that?  Check out this site: http://www.purelybranded.com/insights/5-ways-to-increase-stickiness-with-web-design/).

As far as design goes, you may use images and webpage templates from  the wordpress/weebly sites, or you may provide your own. You may use a  personal camera to take photos and upload them. Remember: make it follow  the requirements from your RFP and make it a professional-looking site.  Write your own content about your products and your company.

Do not simply direct to any outside pages, and do not  copy any verbiage from other websites. You MAY use the template photos  on the website generator. Remember to 'publish' your site and provide me  with the URL. Do not PAY to publish it, or pay for any features. This  assignment should not cost you anything.

To submit your assignment, do two things for me:

1. The first is to provide me the URL of your site. There will be a  textbox in this assignment area. Simply cut and paste the URL of your  website into the textbox. I will grade the website right from the URL  you provide.
2. The second is to upload (once again) your assignment 2 (the RFP)  so that I may more easily match up your intent (from the first box  paragraphs 3-4) with the actual site you designed.Please make sure to  update per the comments from Assignment
