Assignment #1 Power Point Presentation for Nontraditional Site
Instructions: The students will work together to create a PP presentation to present to the staff at the nontraditional Level II FW site that does not currently offer OT services. Be sure to include background history of OT in Mental Health, what the focus is on for OT interventions in MH facilities, and how their specific site could benefit directly from OT services if they were to consider adding the service of OT. The students will be expected to present their PowerPoint to the facility’s staff by the end of their rotation. The student is to email the PowerPoint including notes in the note pages of the presentation to the AFWC no later than Friday of week 4. Length and parameters of the presentation are at the discretion of the Clinical Educator.
