TOPIC: Green New Deal - global warming

You must use class sources (text and/or outside readings) for this assignment and must reference/cite those sources. You might also need/want to research other sources to provide additional background on the topic. All sources must be cited in a Works Cited page. The paper should be about 4-5 pages in length.  The paper must be well-written and well-researched. Poor grammar and spelling will have a negative impact on your grade.

The paper must address one of the topics list below. It must have four sections as follows:

For each topic, you are an advisor to the President and you are providing him with an analysis/paper/memo explaining what is the current status of the topic and proposing a course of action. The four sections should cover:

1. A summary of the situation (Here you can have a “thesis statement” if you want, or you can leave that to the end).
2. How does Realism explain the situation and what does Realism predict will happen? What would a Realist propose America should do? (Here you might want to briefly describe Realism).
3. How does Liberalism shed light on the situation and what does Liberalism predict will happen? What would a Liberal propose for the United States to do? (Here you might want to briefly describe Liberalism).
4. Your personal conclusion about what the President/the United States should do (based on your educated opinion drawn from the above sections).
