Search to find five current (published within the last five years) research articles from peer-reviewed, professional nursing journals to support your topic from the NRS 4003 Issues in Healthcare Policy course. If you still need to take policy, you can use the guidance below to brainstorm ideas about improving your workplace.
· issues for which there is no current policy, and a policy needs to be created and presented to the facility practice committee
· issues for which it has been determined that staff are inadequately trained and need an educational offering
· issues for which training is outdated, and staff need an educational offering as a refresher
· issues for which there are adequate and current policies, but those policies are not being followed, and staff need educational offerings with evidence to support the need for following the policies.
· You will find five recent nursing journal articles
· Create an APA reference for each journal article
· Upload each article as a PDF in your submission
· Provide 3-5 sentence paragraph explaining how the articles can help with your quality improvement project.
· You can submit using a Word document. Below, you will find the rubric with a short example at the end of the rubric showing how you can list your articles. Please remember that the references need to be in APA format (capitalization, italicizing, information in the correct order, spacing, and hanging indents). You do not need to include a title page or reference page.
