You are a human services professional working with at-risk infants ages 0–3 and their families. At-risk infants are those that are less likely to develop “normally” and who may have emotional and/or behavioral problems. It is your job to research and identify effective intervention strategies that promote the personal and social function of infants of at-risk families. For this discussion, you will analyze various evidence-based intervention strategies and select one to address the following in your initial post:

• Provide the name of the evidence-based intervention.
• Briefly describe the intervention strategy in 2–3 sentences.
• Discuss how you would implement this strategy in your work with the at-risk families to help them promote the cognitive and/or socioemotional development of their infant.
