Downloading and Using ArcGIS

 Once you have the software installed, submit a discussion post that indicates that you have successfully installed ArcGIS, ArcMap, and the assignment data. Discuss any issues you had installing the software and explain the steps needed to resolve the issue. Then, based on the assigned readings and video tutorial this week discuss how GIS can address societal issues from two of the following: criminal investigations, watershed management, pollution movement, urban planning, socio-economic disparity, business and community development, habitat management and sensitive species conservation. 

 f you have problems with installation, you may contact ESRI Customer Service at 888-377-4575. ESRI customer service gives you the option of using a shared-screen program to help solve any problems. This means that they will see your desktop screen and the files you choose to open in front of them. Once your issue has been addressed, you can disconnect them and stop the shared screen option. 

I had lots of issues and had to call them several times, they used the share screen which help. Please include this. Could not figure out how to download find files and set up the assignment. Include that also.
