   A great writer can be the voice of a generation. On the other hand, a great writer may also give voice to a unique sensibility and a personal vision of life and its possibilities. The purpose of this Exploration Activity is to introduce you to the Dominican Republic as it is now.
   Step One:
   Do some research on the Dominican Republic. You may use the internet, books and other materials.
   Step Two:
   Find photographs that include the people, activities, and scenes (illustrating both buildings and landscapes) of the Dominican Republic.
   Step Three:
   Create a power point presentation or presentation type of your choice, to display what you have learned in your research. Your presentation should be approximately 10 slides that address each of the areas above and also including your title, introduction, conclusion, and list of references. Be sure to add captions to each of your pictures.
