Discussion: What do you think of Microsoft Project?
Once you have downloaded Microsoft Project, consider some small project you may carry out in daily life such as mowing the yard, organizing a room, or even going shopping. Think of five to ten activities that you might undertake in the course of the small project. Enter these activities into Microsoft Project. Put each in logical order, and make a rough estimate of the duration of each step. Then, complete the following:
- Take a screenshot of your Microsoft Project "mini-project," and post it in the discussion forum.
- Briefly describe any difficulties you had with using Microsoft Project or creating the schedule.
- Identify what you like and what you don't like about the software, and state if you would (or would not) be able to use it in your work.
