Discussion Week 2 - Malware & Social Engineering

This week's reading discusses the dangers of malicious software and tricking users.  Please answer the following questions, and then discuss with your classmates:

1. Describe and compair the main types of malware.  Which would you consider to be the most dangerous in a corporate environment, and why?  If you have any experience with this issue on your job, relate it to us so we can see the real-world implications of these types of infections.
    
2. Research software or hardware that can be used to hack into a computer system.  Summarize your research into a post explaining what the hardware/software is, where it can be found and how it works.  What can be done to mitigate any possible damage caused by the use of this device on a network?
