Statement 1:  We should realize that the Lord wants us to address problems with new ideas that he has provided. 

Statement 2:   As it pertains to criminal justice, evidence-based policing and its reliance on scientific research is relevant to all aspects of the system. Public policy is often based on accurate, valid scientific data such as patterns and prevalence of crime and how to prevent it (Mosher et al., 2011).
