I was excited about this assignment since it afforded me the opportunity to write about something I thoroughly enjoy as a hobby, skeet. I have chosen to evaluate the process of shooting a round of skeet as described in the link below. The explanation on how to execute a round of skeet is clearly written and flows very well. The illustration provided helps the reader to visualize the steps and simplifies the procedure, making it easier to follow. The target audience for this writing is a beginner interested in skeet shooting. A novice shooter with working knowledge of how to operate a shotgun could easily follow the steps and complete a round of skeet, making it possible to understand the basics of skeet shooting. I do feel that there is an opportunity for better flow of information. To make this process more effective I would move the paragraph describing the flight path of targets in front of the procedure to further help the reader visualize the steps. Additionally, I would shift the paragraph concerning the number of shots, to just before the procedure, which would provide an overview of the number of shots performed during a round of skeet.
