Hello class,
Some effective coping mechanisms for stress include: take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories; take care of yourself; take care of your body; make time to unwind; talk to others; connect with your community or faith based organizations; avoid drugs and alcohol; and recognize when you need more help (CDC, 2021). I believe many of these would help in my everyday life, however, one that I think is most important is "take care of your body." Currently my body is not number one priority and it should be for so many reasons. Not only is taking care of my body important, but taking care of my body as a coping mechanism for stress is an advantage. I plan to drink more water and eat healthy. I plan to become a little more active as well as getting plenty of sleep. These are just minor changes that will help me overall in more ways than one.

There are coping strategies that you can use to lower your stress. According to www. Cdc.gov taking care of yourself taking care of her body talking to people working out being healthy are all healthy strategies to help you deal with stress or lower your stress level.
The strategies definitely help me in my everyday life. When I feel stressed out I go to the gym. The gym is like my therapy so talking to somebody which I still do too I go to the gym and lift heavy weights and listening to music with my headphones and and tune everything out. Eating healthy also a reason I stress because I was eating our healthy foods anything I wanted I felt stressed out because I was gaining so much weight. And that let him depression and everything else.

Social anxiety first you got to establish what is it? According to www. Mayo clinic.com I just want a person cannot interact basically with people out there in society like they can't socialize work etc they get anxiety from it. Reading more in this article it starts at a young age with kids getting bullied and teased. It just leads into there adult hood.
Even with all the research out there I have my doubts about being a disorder but it is anything that is considered disorder like social anxiety can be changed. All it is all up in your head. Your brain is telling you that you can't function in society because of everything that happened to you as a kid. And all you got to do is flip that switch and there you go . Best talking to somebody going to the gym whatever it is you can flip a switch.

"Social anxiety is anxiety related specifically to social interactions or anticipated social interactions" (Burger & Reevy, 2023). Social anxiety is the avoidance of social situations. From my understanding there have been numerous studies exploring genetic factors, environmental, and cognitive factors related to the causes, symptoms, and treatment of social anxiety. Genetics, a close family member may have social anxiety. Environmental, bullying, family conflict, or traumatic events. Cognitive, overthinking the outcome of the social interaction. Effective treatments for social anxiety include CBT, "CBT is often considered the most effective treatment, helping individuals to challenge and change their negative thought patterns" (Steimer, 2002). Social anxiety may lead to other mental health issues. I'm not sure if I would consider social anxiety a disorder could be a personality trait. If the social anxiety causes an individual to be depressed and abuse substances then I'm assuming it would be considered a psychological disorder. There are questions about the understanding and treatment of the social anxiety disorder.

Hello Class
The target market and demographics for Cloudneo are athletes, runners specifically. The values that Cloudneo has are environmental friendly. Shoe material takes years to decompose. The material that Cloiudneo makes their shoe is durable. After six months, when the shoe does wear out, you can order a new pair and send the old pair back. Cloudneo breaks down the shoe and create new one. Run, Recycle, Repeat. The behavior of Cloudneo is very proactive yet nervous. Not only is Cloudneo curious on how many people will subscribe to their company, but also The model of Run, Recycle, and Repeat. Cloudneo suggest that their shoes will last about 375 miles, or six months for runners. This affects the company financial and environmental performance. "On estimates that a pair of Cloudneos generates 20% to 30% less carbon dioxide than the 18 kilograms emitted by a typical pair of its shoes, but the benefit would increase if the proportion of recycled material rises over time" ( The 100% recyclable running shoe that’s only available by ... n.d.). The differences between the identified target market and those of my peers is that the target market are picking their shoes based on the environment, while my peers may want the next pair of fresh Jordans because of the brand. Brand seems to also trump over saving money on another cheaper brand, comfortably feeling, and how enviormentally friendly a shoe can be for them.

Good Morning Class,
After reviewing both On’s web page dedicated to the new shoe, Cloudneo, and the article posted by the Wall Street Journal, I believe the company designed a new marketing strategy soon to be embraced by many other apparel companies. The shoe is marketed to appeal to those with an active lifestyle, yet still value style, performance, and sustainability. Not only did On create a fully recyclable running shoe, but they also completely remodeled their sales platform by switching to a subscription based model. Customers will pay $29.99 per month and will receive a new pair of Cloudneos if they send back the used pair.
Subscription based services have become very popular in the retail industry because of their simplicity, convenience, and at times can be a cost-effective way to shopping in stores. However, there are many consumers who I believe may be reluctant to a subscription based running shoe, and here is why. At $29.99 per month, and receiving a new pair every six months, that is a commitment to pay over $360.00 a year (after taxes) on just running shoes. Many runners may not be able to afford this luxury no matter how much they are concerned with sustainability. With subscriptions there is also a commitment, or locked-in factor that will dismay certain consumers.
Overall, I believe this business model will experience a gradual start, while the idea will be accepted by a limited number of consumers. However, as time goes on, I believe consumers will slowly start to get more and more comfortable with the idea of subscription-based apparel, especially when other brands start doing this as well.
Best Regards,
Chad Mathis

Hello Everyone,
"A consumer is a shopper who is sore about something." spoken by Harold Coffin rings true as most people look to buy something to fill a void, fix or mend some problem or undesirable set of circumstances they are experiencing weather they are physical, mental or emotional. Many marketing campaigns and advertisements take this angle to appease to common problems or small issues people have on the daily. This takes the form of physical issues with examples being a new and improved cleaning agent or piece of equipment that serves to ease the activity of cleaning. This same idea extends to any product meant to speed up or eliminate the issue entirely for the consumer. Many times companies market their product as the number one reviewed, bets customer reviewed among the leading competitors, etc. trying to get people to give in to the idea they have the number one product for the intended purpose. That is also another angle where people will only buy something if they think it is the most expensive and number one product on the market. Mental and emotional problems are also solved with products like medications for medical or health related issues, self help program media, and many more. Common times of this is when there are sings or writings on the product packaging that says stuff like, "best for a sad day", "comfort food for when the soul hurts" and more. This strategy is used for food, books, blankets, and almost anything a person can think of when positioned to appease to making a person feel better. This also leads to emotional and binge spending where people buy endless products to feel better and fill a void int heir life where they feel empty which they think having more stuff will solve. All of these factors are what drive and motivate a person to buy a product being their personal and psychological factors more so influencing their steps in identifying the problem, information search, evaluation of alternatives, purchase and post-purchase (Grand Canyon University, 2022).
Sincerely,
Kory Fortin

Recently I have journeyed to hurricane Utah. I found a want and need in keeping a jump starter in my car to be able to jump start my car without needing to ask any one for a jump or be able to jump my car when there is no one around. Deciding to purchase a portable jump starter has met the unmet want to not have to ask anybody for a jump and the need for a jump when no one is around. Although this is somewhat of a major purchase in my book people make purchases like this everyday. One could argue every purchase is made to satisfy an unmet want or need. People buy good because they are hungry and people buy certain foods because that's what they want.
