Going through the writing process allows us to take it one step at a time, which ensures that the writing we produce is our best writing. For example, if you started a paper without completing an outline, your paper would not have a solid foundation to start with. Your content would be all over the place, and the reader may not be able to follow your writing as you just came up with thoughts and information on the fly. This also helps you by completing small steps at a time, instead of having a huge essay in front of you and having no idea where to start. By planning, revising, and editing, you are ensuring your writing is written to the best of your ability. Since completing this assignment, I have found that the most difficult part of the writing process for me was completing my draft. It was hard to know if I was on the right track and if I had things in the correct order and place. Luckily, by using resources and examples, this helped me greatly and helped me feel more confident when submitting and going over my writing.

Writing is an iterative process that allows me to refine my work at multiple levels. Each step contributes to the overall progress of the writing, facilitating clarity, coherence, accuracy, and engagement. This organized approach improves the quality of writing by providing a structured framework for a thoughtful and purposeful essay.

I experienced difficulty in overcoming writer's block. I've had difficulty translating my thoughts into coherent written content.

While doing the writing process from picking a topic, brainstorming, research, rough draft to final draft it allowed correction and redirection through each step.  After picking my topic it became difficult to find research that actually supported the subtopics that I had originally chosen to follow my topic.  I had to redirect the sub topics that would have supporting research to go with it.  Although I do know that the original subtopics exist there just is not that much research to support it for an essay.  So from brain storming, to rough draft they kept changing.

The writing process improves the quality of writing because it helps you to think critically and creatively. It helps to organize your thoughts, ideas and put them all together to come up with resourceful information. It teaches brainstorming and how to research important expertise information that will be available to the reader if the reader is interested in searching up the topic’s information. The most difficult for me was research and citing sources, but after a couple of tries and practice I feel that I have improved.

The writing process helps with creating a good document for readers to understand what they are reading. It gives the document a good organized and thought-out format so that readers are not confused and understand what the process is and the explanation and the research that is there to support the writer’s idea. The hardest part for me was probably putting everything on paper. It took a while for me to think how I can word my thoughts onto the word document so that it can be understood. The other part was organizing my work so that it could be fluent and be better understood.

The writing process is a guide and a checklist in one. It gives you a gist of what you need to focus on, which helps with research and the structure of your paper. It also acts as a checklist, you can go through your draft and check to make sure you incorporated the steps. If not, it gives you time to adjust before submitting your final draft, just like a checklist would. The only thing I find difficult about it is actually following the steps, which is more about me not managing my time efficiently and less about the process itself.
