1. Counseling approaches vary in terms of how much emotion to encourage. Group therapy ranges from polite discussion to frustrated and aggressive interactions. Discuss how you will handle and address group counseling within the range of these emotional expressions.

2. Is it important to tailor treatment approaches based on gender identification? Why or why not? 

3. How are treatment goals/objectives influenced by a therapist’s theory of choice? Cite two examples of how the counseling theory being utilized in therapy could dramatically alter treatment goals. Give an example or describe a reason that would prompt you to make a referral.
