Explain the difference between the phrases “measures of central tendency,” “measures of standing,” and “measures of variation.”

Provide a real-world application utilizing each of the following: a measure of center, a measure of standing, and a measure of variation.

Which of these measures is easier for you to understand? Which of these measures is harder for you to understand? Why?
