"Follow the link below to a YouTube video of Bebo and Chucho Valdez perform La Comparsa. Pay close attention to their interactions both through their playing and visual glances. Leading up to the making of this video, Chucho had not seen his father Bebo for over seven years. When Chucho was a young boy, Bebo left his family behind and moved to Sweden to start a new life and family. Knowing all of this back story, how do you feel about the performance? What do you think was said in their musical conversation? Choose one of the two players and write out a few things they may have said, musically, in words.
