For week three, there is only one discussion question posted. You need to answer all specific areas of the question. The topic is on Hygiene. Please be creative with your responses.  Answer each question and give rationales to your answer.

If you want to minimize your patient’s risk of infection and enhance their overall health, what personal hygiene habits would you encourage your patients to follow? Take in considerations the safety guidelines for nursing skills related to hygiene. What are some ways to determine a patient’s personal preferences about hygiene practices?  Give variations in hygiene care provided in the home instead of a hospital. How would you the nurse modify hygiene practices based on the patient’s illness or special needs?
