 Discuss how an employee’s constitutionally-protected freedom to associate with whomever he or she chooses can be at odds with service in a law enforcement agency or other employer. Keep in mind the constitutionally-based employment issues studied in this module. This includes the ways in which due process, equal protection, and privacy interests impact public sector employment, particularly law enforcement.
