Our skin...different colors, different textures, different feels. It is used to define our race or ethnicity, and also to express ourselves. Our textbook states that we shed a certain amount of skin each day in the normal process of life, why then do those expressions, the tattoos, stay permanent? Discuss this week the reasons why tattoos are permanent, even though we are simply putting ink on skin. How does it work? Consider if you have tattoos and if certain ones were more painful and why? How is it that we can get them "covered over?" How do we have them removed?
