Discussion: Leadership in the SWOT Process

In order to fully participate in the discussion, read Chapter 11 in your textbook, as well as the article Non-governmental Organizations: Strategic Management for a Competitive World. As a leading management consultant for nonprofit agencies, you have been invited to make a keynote presentation to a national convention for nonprofit organizations within the United States. The topic is the role of leadership in facilitating an effective internal and external environmental analysis as part of the SWOT process. Outline the key points of your presentation with specific attention to the roles leadership plays in each step of the strategic planning cycle.
