 The underlying purpose of research is to learn ways to solve problems and contribute to the body of literature. Therefore, research proposals should explore new issues or new ways to solve old problems. Discuss a contemporary issue within the business discipline or your profession that warrants a research study. Indicate why the issue would be an interesting one to pursue.
