Discussion Hydraulic Motors and Circuits

 Engineers and technicians need to be familiar with all sorts of  mechanical components. Most of these components may be procured  commercially, and part of your job will be to find components with  design characteristics suited to your design purposes. This assignment  examines the typical specifications found in the commercial world. 

 

Consider the following fluid power system components: valves, motors, compressors, and pneumatic cylinders. 

In your original post, answer the following:

• Discuss one of the components in detail. 
• Post a datasheet of the component and try to explain the specifications for the class. 
• How would you use the specifications provided in the design of a fluid power system? 
• Discuss the range of applications and technical specifications, and if it requires any electrical control to operate.
