The impacts of the Industrial Revolution are many and long-lasting, to the extent that it is nearly impossible to imagine our world today without the technologies and business systems that are a direct result of the Industrial Revolution. With that said, there were people who argued against its changes both as they were introduced and in the years after.  For this assignment, consider the many impacts of the Industrial Revolution including working conditions, opportunity for financial gain, growth of big business, gender roles, impact on the environment, increased automation of tasks, and numerous other effects and answer whether you feel the overall outcome was more positive or more negative for the world.  Be sure to support your response with at least 2-3 reasons why you feel this way. While I know that history (and life) are rarely black and white, you must pick one side for this assignment!
