Hello class, 

When determining if there are measures that an employer can take to protect its employees from workplace violence, I tend to agree that there are ways that exist. There are certain characteristics, work performance, and previous employment history that an employer can use to make the best hiring determination. Although this is not 100% sound, it’s the best way to ensure that workplace violence is mitigated. Additionally, employers can provide training and coaching on how ethics and workplace conduct is handled. All in All, if the corporation promotes a healthy work environment combined with equality and diversity there should be a reduction in incidents occurring and clear communication amongst the organization.
