I was a professional contractor for years, and I still do Home Improvement on the side. A company that I really like, and use their power tools almost exclusively, is Bosch. They make excellent products that seem to last forever. Their main marketing strategy is retail but they also sell to professionals through some specialty outlets. Their main competitors would be other professional-grade tool manufacturers such as Milwaukee, and DeWalt. Their indirect competitors would be homeowner grade tools such as Ryobi and Kobalt. Their direct competitors Market through retail outlets as well as through professional dealers . Their indirect competitors Market exclusively to homeowners through retail outlets such as Lowe's and Home Depot.
