 There are times when a counselor is mandated to report child abuse for a teen, though the counselor has a strong knowledge that no action taken due to the priority requirements of Child Protective Services.  There may be a risk when reporting that the parent will deduct that the counselor made the report and terminate the counseling relationship, which is the best thing going for the minor.  Discuss how you would handle this situation as a future counselor.  Please make sure to include a reference to support your response. Must be APA format, cited, minimum 250 words
