Answer both topics thoroughly for a discussion Board:

1. Do you believe that the community in which you live promotes diversity?  Does the community provide opportunities for different groups to express their differences?  If so, do you participate in those opportunities?  If not, what should the city do to change?
2. a. Are you solely responsible for opening and closing the doors of opportunity in your life? Explain.                                                       b. If a fellow employee tells you a joke which you find to be offensive (regarding gender, race, ethnicity, sexual affinity,  etc) during your lunch hour, how would you react?  Why?
