Your assignment is to provide your classmates with an overview of two events that you experienced in a work setting.  If you have not ever been employed, you may use another situation such as participation on a sports team, in a student organization, church or other settings where groups of people come together for a shared purpose.

Follow the prompts to complete this discussion board assignment. You may write up to 500 words on this discussion board.

1. Provide your classmates with an overview (one-two paragraphs) of a positive example in which you experienced one of the following:

• Employee concerns in your work setting that were addressed and resolved.  What was one of the main concerns?  How was the situation resolved?  What has happened happening since then?
• A supervisor who demonstrated leadership to support employees during times of stress and/or organizational change?
• A positive example of job enrichment that you have experienced.
• Description of high levels of employee satisfaction in your work setting.

2. Now, provide  your classmates with an overview (one-two paragraphs) of a negative example in which you experienced one of the following:

• Employee concerns in your work setting that were not addressed and resolved.  What was one of the main concerns?  What barriers have prevented the situation from being resolved?  What has happened happening since then?
• A supervisor who demonstrated a lack of leadership to support employees during times of stress and/or organizational change?
• A negative example of job enrichment that you have experienced.
• Description of low levels of employee satisfaction in your work setting. Describe what you think should be done to improve this.
