For this discussion, click the links to review the following readings: Principles of Plain Language and Writing for Understanding. Read the content thoroughly and construct a discussion post with the following prompts: 

• Think of an instruction, a task, or an explanation that might be included in your future Quality Improvement Project. Write one or two substantial paragraphs explaining the instruction, task, or explanation in professional medical terms.  
• Then translate your work into plain language that would be appropriate for the audience that would be receiving the information: Patients, families, children, persons with learning deficits, people for whom English is a second language,  or whomever you are passionate about serving.  
• Include the population to whom you will be communicating. 

Your post should be 250 - 400 words in length. Make sure to adhere to APA 7 formatting, style, and grammar. Include at least one peer-reviewed article referencing the topic for your Quality Improvement idea with appropriate in-text citation(s) and a reference statement per APA 7.
