 While reading the poems this week, keep in mind how your positionality determines the way you navigate and connect with the poems. Choose one poem from this week’s readings that allowed you to make a certain connection with the content, and respond to the following question: 

What about the poem did you connect with, relate to, or feel for? Ultimately, consider the question from the reader-response page: How does my life—what has happened to me, how I was raised, what I know—help me to understand the text?
