Discussion- Applying Instructional Strategies For Teaching Literature

1. Explain two reasons why it is valuable to include a rubric as part of your instructional presentation to students when introducing an assignment or project. Include discussion about how the information presented will vary in the K-3 versus 4-8 grade ranges.

2. Integrating technology as part of classroom literacy instruction and for the completion of assignments is becoming more widespread in all grade levels. Explain how you can support the integration of technology in the reading classroom for students who might have limited access to technology away from school. Include discussion of how you can help to bridge the technology gap for students.
